In my opinion, make-up is essential to creating a fabulous vintage retro pin up look. I am not an advocate of wearing makeup everyday and do caution you ladies on how wearing too much too often can lead to skin care issues. However, when it comes to achieving that great vintage look from days of old, then makeup will always do the trick.

The great thing about this day and age, is that you can take your own interpretation of makeup from the old days, and mix it wonderfully with your own fashion choices. Now of course, there are standard classic choices and looks to go with. They will stand the test of time, but with so many great makeup companies out there with such a diverse selection of colors, you just can’t go wrong.

I always suggest that you go with what feels good to you. The world is built on individuality and where would be if everyone was the same? Boring (yawn). So, do your best to stand out and create a work of art to your liking. That’s how I feel and approach all makeup I do and teach to you. My video tutorials are meant to give you my take on certain looks and I will always reveal what inspires me.

Makeup is your friend. I know it’s mine. Don’t be afraid to experiment and take some risks form time to time. You might just see that looks you thought you might not be able to pull off, are actually looks that you were meant to rock!
